Trash/Recycle

All trash must be placed in proper containers for collection. Garbage cans or secured plastic bags are considered proper containers.

Trash may be placed no earlier than dusk the day prior to collection. Collection days are Tuesday and Friday. If collection day falls on a holiday, then pick up will be made the next regularly scheduled pickup day.

Recyclables are collected on Tuesday. Place glass, plastic, and metal (such as tin cans) in their green recycle container. Newspapers and their contents may be placed in a brown paper bag, (no Plastic) or stacked and tied in bundles.

Recycling containers are property of the homeowners and not the Association. Replacement is the responsibility of the homeowner and can be obtained through the waste removal company.

All trash must be placed in the immediate vicinity of your walkway or access to the common drive from which the trash is picked up. Placing trash or trash containers so as to block normal access to Township, BCHA common or other homeowner streets, private walkways, driveways or parking areas is prohibited.

Trash receptacles should be stored behind or against your house.

Home occupants shall be responsible for picking up trash debris around their homes. This includes common ground if the home occupant’s trash (left out for pick up) is scattered by the wind, animals or other disturbances. Homeowners/tenants’ voluntary assistance in keeping open spaces clear of litter will be greatly appreciated.

Bulk items such as furniture, appliances, carpet, etc. must be called in and scheduled for pick-up. The current trash removal service will pick up one (1) bulk item per month free of charge, some exclusions may apply. It is the homeowner/tenant’s responsibility to pay for all large items that are not accepted as regular trash. The trash removal service must be contacted directly by the home occupant. No bulk items are to be placed outside until the night before the scheduled pick-up.

The dumpster located in the parking lot behind the Barn is for Barn and pool use only.
