Owners and tenants will be responsible for the adherence to this policy by their relatives, guests, contractors and visitors.
Speed Limit: The speed limit within Brookside Community Association common drives and access roads is 15 miles per hour.
Prohibited Vehicles: Operation of any motorized vehicle other than passenger cars, pickup trucks or motorcycles on Brookside Community Association common property is forbidden. Operation of motor scooters, ATVs, go-carts, mopeds, snowmobiles and minibikes is specifically forbidden.
Parking Spaces: There are no assigned parking spaces, please show consideration of neighbors when parking multiple vehicles, park within marked spaces in all areas where BCHA has marked spaces. Vehicle parking that restricts other vehicles or normal access to common Courts, Drives, Walkways and sidewalks accessing private residences is forbidden.
Storage: Parking or storage of non-operating, non-inspected or non-licensed vehicles on BCA common property is prohibited. Any vehicle not used for more than 30 days is considered dead storage and is prohibited. Storage of small commercial vehicles is prohibited. Parking of multiple small commercial vehicles on BCA common property is permitted only by specific permission of BCA board.
Trucks: trucks larger than a three-quarter ton pickup are not permitted to park on BCA common property. Exceptions to this rule are handicapped vehicles. Parking of service, repair and maintenance vehicles are permitted only for the duration of their required tasks.
Utility and Recreation Vehicles: Parking of Trailers, RV’s, Campers, Mobile Homes and Boats on BCA property for more than seven days without prior permission from the BCA Board or Management agent is prohibited. Living or overnight sleeping in any vehicle parked on BCA property is forbidden.
Failure to abide by any of these regulations will result in enforcement procedures by the BCA board including warning letters, fines and/or removal of any offending vehicles at owner’s expense.
